There is an idle stop screen you turn in on the throttle body of the engine intake. I suggest if you are having stall issues that you clean the throttle body and throttle valve with throttle body cleaner, you can buy it at any auto parts store..
PLace a test light onto one of the wires and turn on the park lights. If the light works then that is the park light wire .If not switch off the parks and turn on the blinkers The light should start to blink.
first check to see if there is a white rectangle shaped ceramic box on firewall thats a resister went on mine drove to store came back out it wouldnt start common on the older datsuns
its not an easy job to do but you hit the nail right on the head, only way to stop the leak is try to tighten the clips first if that failes change the pipes if all fails put in some rad weld? that should stop a leak for about a year or so,it works on brand new fords!!!
Have the thermostat tested first. You can do that by observing if the fan turns on when the fan exceeds your normal running temperature. You may want to check the radiator cap it may be worn out that some steam may come out through it causing temperature to increase in the process.
