Check wiring to alternator and make sure you have a 12v feed to the unit and that alternator has a good earth. Goodluck

The Lynx and Probe have a real issue with this. The transmission is failing, and there are dozens and dozens of horror stories about late 1990s to early 2000s Ford transmissions fail prematurely, sometimes 6 months after a dealership rebuild. When was the last time it was serviced?

Here's a link to your charging system,it shows a fusible link inline with alternator,follow wiring leaving your positive side of battery,link could be melted or burnt.

What is the trouble code of 0328 of ford lynx?


Since Ford does not sell a Lynx in the USA, I assume this is not an American car.
Here code 328 is for a problem with the knock sensor, which could be the sensor or several other problems.

Charging problem on 91 ford diesel


CHECK ALTERNATOR FUSE AND CHECK FOR DAMAGE WIRES GOING TO ALTERNATOR.NOW IF BATTERY CABLES ARE OLD THE POSITIVE CABLE MOSTLY CAUSE HIGH RESISTANCE IN CHARGING CIRCUIT CAUSING NO CHARGE CONDITIONS.MAKE DRIVE BELT IS NOT SLIPPING KEEPING ALTERNATOR FROM CHARGING.
