SOURCE: no pressure clutch pedal goes straight to the floor 1988 holden r

If hydraulic actuated mechanism, loss of fluid, defective master cylinder or slave cylinder at the clutch. Missing pin or other part between slave cylinder and clutch arm. Loose or broken slave cylinder mounting. Missing pin or broken part between pedal and master cylinder. If mechanical linkage, look for broken components or missing pins at moving joints. If you tried to shift into gear with engine running, you may have damaged the transmission gears.

SOURCE: 2000 cavalier clutch pedle goes to floor when pushed and stays there, clutch not working no pressure

You are going to have to replace the master and slave cylinders for the hydraulic clutch, the seals have failed in the slave, but from past experience they should always been replaced as a pair.

SOURCE: Clutch pedal goes to the floor, then after pulling it up there is pressure...

There is either air in the system or a leak in the clutch slave cylinder. Check your fluid make sure it is full and the cap is tight.

I need to get the clutch cable off a 1997 vw cabrio. How do i get the cable off the clutch pedal

After disconnecting the cable from the engine compartment remove the lower panel on the driver side. Press clutch peddle to floor then reach around the steering wheel column on the gas peddle side. you will feel a plastic guard. reach under guard you will feel the cable on top of clutch peddle. pull cable up and toward back of car.

I have a 2001 vw cabrio and the clutch got stuck to the floor and won't come back up, it goes into gear but won't move. i heard it could be the clutch cable, where is this located?

At the top of the pedal, there is a hook that a loop on the cable attaches. It then goes out through the firewall, towards the transaxle, in a half inch think rubber sheath. It then bends down to the front of the transaxle, where it goes though an adjuster and connects to a long arm. Loosen the locking nut and then spin the adjuster so that there is less tension. But is there is no tension, it is not the cable. Then it would be the throwout bearing that was binding. It is under the tailpiece cover. Remove the cover, and operate the clutch to see if the bearing is binding.

Clutch peddle goes to the floor

Do you mean that stays to the floor because the clutch peddle has to reach the floor. If that is what you mean then probably you need a knew clutch or if it is hydraulic maybe it reflling and dicomression.
