You can't put unleaded into a 1999 vehicle... you must have things confused. Some vehicles prefer high octane gasoline instead of regular. Using the wrong one (containing 10% ethanol can overheat and ruin the inside of some engines) Dual fuel engines can handle the ethanol.

I saw a post recently of taking off the fuel filter and allowing the fuel pump to empty the tank. This is similar to siphoning, you can sell the gas to someone and transfer to their vehicle using that method. It may be too much fuel for gas cans. A neighbourhood mechanic or dealership have large enough gasoline containers to handle this. A hoist would be handy.

SOURCE: roaring sound comming from front of car

The deeper or bolder the tread cut will cause more 'road noise'. The only solution would be to replace tires with manufature recommended tread design. You could also increase insulation under your carpetting or spray on "body insulation" on firewall to dampen the sound.

recommended is just that... a suggestion. most cars will run just fine on regular gas although you may notice a difference from using premium all the time. if you still have the owners manual it should tell you.

SOURCE: Low oil pressure after engine has heated up.

With the car warmed up, oil pressure should be 1.5 kg/cm^2 @ 800 rpm. If your not getting that much, you may want to get an oil pressure gauge (mechanics type) to check it. 8d774a8.gif Using this type of gauge will give you an accurate reading. The stock gauge may not be very accurate, especially if the sending unit is old.

SOURCE: super-unleaded or premium gas for 2006 lexus ls 430

Well, of course premium is HIGHLY recommended, but it is not necessary.
You can use regular grade in your engine and it will not harm it at all. Modern engine management systems have knock sensors that detect lower grade fuel and make the necessary adjustments to your timing and fuel delivery systems.
All you will notice is slightly slower acceleration and a slight drop in engine horsepower.

Hope this helps...

I mistakenly put a regular gas in it when its an UNLEADED FUEL only model an automatic 1994 geo tracker

Hi!!
At the pump, when it says Regular, it means Regular Unleaded Gasoline, the one that says Super, is Super Unleaded Gasoline, the only difference between the two is the octane rating. Both will work just fine on your vehicle.

I just bought it and need to no which gas is best for it out of the three types. and if i put regular gas in, will that break it!

when you open the gas flap to put gas in it should say "unleaded fuel only" or " premium unleaded fuel only". If it says premium only use premium. If it just says unleaded then you can use normal unleaded gas. But some stations have a lower grade unleaded gas. Use 88 octane or better.

My 1999 Plymouth Neon runs out of gas when cornering to the left. It does this with half a tank left!

About the only reasons I can think of for that to happen would be a hole or crack in the pick-up tube in the tank,an extreme amount of dirt in tank, or someone already replaced fuel pump and bent tube when installing it. Either way it sounds to me like your only way to find out for sure is to remove the pump assy. If It's the same as my 95' it will be accessible when you take passenger side rear wheel off, and look at tank, near top toward front of vehicle.

Setting the timing on a 1999 plymouth neon

The best way for you to do this is to go to a autostore and buy the repair manual for a 95-99 dodge/plymouth neon. That will help you better, because you have to pull apart the front of the motor (passanger side). Its not as hard as it sounds. 90% chance your engine is a sohc. If needed i can give you the complete directions for doing this but easer for you to see it in the book.
hope this helps
