Question about 1982 Chevrolet El Camino

My 1981 chevy El Camino V6 3.8L 229 idle gets high when engine is hot and when engine gets cold idle drops not sure why can i have any suggestions

Sounds like a problem with your choke. It may just need to be cleaned (linkages and all). If the choke doesn't close after reaching operating temperature, the engine will rev high. This indicates a choke stuck in the open position. Also, you may need to look for a vacuum leak if cleaning it doesn't fix it. On a 1981 GM product, I'd expect the vacuum hoses to be stiff and cracking.

86 4.3 litre V6 chevy el camino bogging down, stalling out
most likely a weak fuel pump or a clogged filter. Check fuel pressure with a gauge or as its bogging down spray brake cleaner in the Throttle Body. If this allows it to increase RPM then its the pump or filter.

I have an 1983 chevy el camino and the high speed on the ac isnt working. where are the relays at?
I beleive that would be the resistor pack that would need replacing.

It is usually near the fan.

High Oil pressure 1987 El Camino?
Not knowing what weight oil your useing but 60# cold is not bad in fact its perty near normal. Its how far it drops when it warms up is where the concern should be.

3speed or 4 speed? does it slip or just not shift. Might be old seals or a bad governor. Try using lubegard trans additive. Try that for a week if it doesn't work, replace the governor valve.
