Location of fuel pump relay 1991 ford aerostar 3.0

Its located next to the master cylinder and diagnostic port under the hood, drivers side. There are 3 relays located there. On is AC clutch, EEC, and the fuel pump.

With the AC off put your hand on the relays and turn the ignition on, but not to start. The fuel pump relay will click twice.

The A/C Compressor relay is located on the firewall, there should be a couple of relays in this location. I have added a diagram which should assist you in locating this relay.

Hope this helps...

Ac fuses

  • There is not an AC fuse but rather a relay. Your AC clutch relay is located under the hood. Should be on the bottom all the way to the left. The relay box is located behind the battery.

The a/c fan comes on and off when the car is not running. Sounds like a relay, if so where is it located?

this relay is located at right rear of the engine compartment, this relay is for the normal speed control for the cooling fan, all other relays for ac and cooling is controled by the computers, you may have a bad high preasure switch for the ac, you said ac fan, i assume you are talking about the cooling fan for the ac at the radiator if this is correct then theres relay where i said. hope this helps.

My 03 celica ac indicator light flashes continuously. I was told by the dealer that I have a bad ac relay inside the dash and the dash would have to be disassembled to have it replace. Since most relays...

Hello. You have posted a great question here, one that other Celica owners may also have. The solutions is as follows:

You have a very common issue.

More than likely, you have a bad AC magnet clutch relay.

Toyota is aware of a high failure rate from these relays, and has issued a technical sevice bulletin regarding this.

You need to replace the AC relay, with the updated relay.
The old relay part number is: 90987-02022.
The updated relay's Toyota part number is: 90987-02028

Contrary to what your dealer is telling you, the relay is in the relay box under the hood. Look for the 'AC MG Clutch relay'.

Replace the relay, and you problem will be cured.

Relay center location

Finally located the AC primary small relay in the relay center under the right dashboard site. The relay had burned winding and only the resistor connected parallel to the coil was showing some resistance otherwise it wasn't engaging when I applied power to it. The Buick is actually 1990.
