Cruse control does not work - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina APV

Many times a bad brake light switch will prevent the cruise from engaging. But your best bet is to get a shop manual and follow the step by step tests. Check with your local library to see if they have online access to a repair manual

Check that the brake light is functioning correctly. If the speed control is receiving that the brake pedal is depressed it will not engage.

I would check all fuses to see if any have blown.

From what I have read the flashing cruse light is to get you to fix the problem. Any cel will throw the cruse light and cruse will not work. Get your abs checked out and cruse will work again when fixed.

Check your fuses for the cruse controle. and connections ,

check the crise control module on the drivers fender

well the cruse control has a cruse control module check that out but for the the turn signals and dash light if you already replaced the fuse maybe the lights burned out or you have a bad ground somewhere
