Have you checked the brake light fuse to see if there is power at the fuse and out of the fuse, also check the brake light switch for power in and out when the pedal is pressed, do that and get back to me.?
The tail/brake light are double filament. So it is important to use the precise numbered bulb that your Jeep recommends. If it is a single filament only the brake or tail light will work depending on the bulb used.
It's also possible you happen to get a defective bulb.
If that checks out then there is a brake switch by the brake pedal that could be malfunctioning or a loose wire/connection.
the problem is with the bulb, what is happening is when you push your brake pedal with the lights off you are turning on you parking light side of you bulb, when the lights are on the parking light is already lit up so when you push the pedal you see no change. try a new bulb
hello, there is a switch onto the brake pedal ,probably this is not working, you can do a test to know if ,it is not working.Disconnect the two wire which goes in the switch, now after having disconnect it,now connect the two wires together, then see if the brake-light is lighting ,if so you know that the switch is not good and you have to replace it
