Maybe get grow bulbs on a timer to increase the amount of daylight it receives. Having a right soil is important... test with litmus paper for acid or base soil. Lillies like acid soil. Make sure the soil is well drained, lime-free and is enriched with some organic matter. Keep the soil moist, but don't allow it to stay wet for any length of time.

Spilled water on a laptop computer.

Water and electronics do not mix, let it dry out for a week and maybe it will work again, leave it alone for that time, as each time you fire up the computer with water in it you can do more damage.

Do it Yourself: How leaving the tires as new tires

This Do it yourself is simple.

As we all know with time the tires lose color, brightness, etc... and are "pretty" only when they are wet, but when they dry and return to be "ugly".

Well, with the following "trick" you can have as new tires for a couple of weeks, that they do in stores for cleaning car by hand, but if they ask as they do to make the tires so bright, do not be want to tell the secret!

We need:
· 250ml. Glyceril pure liquid.
· 750ml. of water.
· Without using a brush.
· An empty 1 liter.
· A mop.
· A cube.
· Soap and water.

First we have to clean the tires with a mop, giving it with soap and water that have previously poured into a bucket, this will remove any dirt on the tires.

Let dry, then in a pot of 1 liter of capacity put 250ml. Glycerin pure liquid, you can get at the pharmacy or cleaning, and also get 750ml. distilled water (without chlorine), that you can achieve in the department stores, supermarkets, etc... water air-conditioning, or even if full the carafe of water and let no stopper for a couple of days, but you can also use tap water directly, although it would not be yours... but nor anything happen.

Once water and glycerin into the pot, mix it well, and let the brush to apply the liquid in the tires, just in theface you see (the rim), do not apply in the party who has contact with the ground, as they could grab less tires or skate.

Once applied either with the brush (try not produce fluids in the tires), let them dry and away you go.

The glycerin is an oil very low density, so it is not sticky and the refore will not stay stuck in the muck tires like some cleaning products for tires, or if make the old method of coca-cola or water with sugar.

The result is that the tires seem that they are always wet, because of their brightness, set with the brightness difference between the front and the inside...

How do I take the door panel off of a 2006 Buick Rendezvous (drivers front door) panel? My door locks and latch keep freezing in the winter time and I want to remove the panel to lube it with grease.

Putting grease on pivot points will make things worse in the winter since grease gets stiff when it gets cold. Shoot some dry graphite in the lock cylinder from the outside.

Is there a fuel/water separator on a 2014 gmc sierra 1500? MIL comes on for a bit then off. code p2269 stored.

Fuel injected gasoline engines have fuel pump in gas tank. Pump is supposed to "emulsify" (fancy word for "mix") fuel and water to help prevent a localized build up of water at bottom of tank. But ...water and gas don't mix and if you have too much water (caused from condensation ...especially in the winter ...and consistently keeping your fuel at low levels) things don't work so well. Dry Gas ...ancient stuff from carburetor days and frozen fuel lines ....get some, a couple or three bottles at least, and pour into your gas tank then fill up. Dry Gas is essentially (methyl?) alcohol that will break up the water and allow it to better mix with the gas.

I need a engine for a 89 crown vic 5.0 i want to up the size to a 5.8 but dont know if the motor will fit in the engine bay plus i dont know if i need to change the transmission to a bigger one to fit

You would be much better off finding another 5.0L engine. It's a big can of worms to swap in a different engine, and not just for the reasons you mentioned. There is the engine wiring harness, the computer, many connections and placement fittings you would have to contend with. Check if the Crown Vic even had the 5.8L as an option. If so, it may be possible with minor modifications, but may be very time-consuming, whereas another 5.0L is just a straight swap-much easier. Whatever you decide, good luck.
By the way, I'm not sure your fluid-draining storage idea is very advisable. Many seals (like in the coolant system) could get dry and crack and cause a leak when filled and ran again. An old mechanic once told me never leave the coolant system dry-it leads to rust, scale and corrosion, and dried seals. He even kept his engines that were removed and.stored on the floor topped up with anti-freeze- said he never had a problem with corrosion build-up or dried seals.

My windshield washers wont spray, but they are still full of washer fluid

do you hear the mini washing water pump noise (working)? if no: check fuse panel where labled washer... if yes: there could be a blockage in the very fine sprays ontop of hood, due to prevoius not clean water used before or any pricipitant..... you need to use a very thin wire or tool to clean it

Side View Mirror Wiring

Just try matching from the outside to the outside, middle to middle, etc. or use a continuity tester against each pair until the light up. Solder the wires, do not use wire nuts.
