I just boughth a 1998 plymouth voyager and brand new bulbs were replace when i bought it. but now while driving at night they shine hihg and not on the ground.they are shining way up in the sky.both right and left headlights read 2-0-2 and on the leveling scale same for the other side theres a black line on the -2 and the +2 and the 0 in the middle seems to be level.... do you think the bulbs are upside down.. thanks vern

It's very difficult to install them upside down, but i guess anything is possible. wait until dusk, shine the lights on a flat surface and attempt to adjust until the lights look like they are shining in the center.

there should be one on the side of the lense, and one near the top.one moves the bulb left and right, and the other up and down.

move one at a time and see which way the beam moves on a wall.

Need to know how to replace low beam headlight

Lift hood, reach in behind and remove retainer (twist and unlock) , the wiggle bulb out. Remove connector and ring and be sure to pay attention how it came apart and put back with new bulb. Don't touch glass of new bulb, and rub a little vaseline or grease on "O" ring of bulb for easier installation. Your high beam and low are on one bulb, so it must be replaced.

How do I change the Driver's side Front Headlight on the 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager?

  1. Unscrew the three screws that secure the headlight assembly to your Dodge Caravan. Put the screws in your pocket or another safe place, so you won't lose them before reinstalling the headlight assembly.
  2. Pull the headlight assembly away from the front of the vehicle. Turn the bulb retaining ring counterclockwise to unlock the electrical connector. Remove the electrical connector from the bulb assembly by pulling it straight out.
  3. Replace the old bulb with a new halogen headlight bulb. Connect the electrical connector and turn the bulb retaining ring clockwise to lock the bulb into place.
  4. Reinstall the headlight assembly and secure the screws tightly before closing the hood. Turn on your Dodge Caravan, flip on the headlights and verify they're working properly.
