SOURCE: Driver side headlight bulbs burned out on 2003 VW Golf

There is a light cover in front of the battery... take this off and then look for the metal clamps holding the light housing in.  (I say clamps, but they're more like glorified paper clips on either side of the fixture.)  Press in on each side, pushing the clamps towards each other and pull the fixture out.

SOURCE: to replace the condense of A5 VW Golf 4 cylinder air conditioner and change oil in pump

To change the condensor undo the lines and mounts and remove.Replacing is opposite proceedure. Replace the air dryer/ receiver at the same time. There should be no need to change the compressor oil as it moves trhrough the system with the gas and there is no sump as such.

  • Remove retaining clamps from A/C hoses near condenser
  • Unbolt A/C condenser from radiator and support condenser with wire or heavy duty tie wraps Note: Do not discharge the A/C refrigerant. Support the A/C condenser with wire and avoid stretching or kinking the hoses.
