1999 BMW 323is E36...fog lights lens seems to crack very easily...is there any transparent covers available to protect lens but still not cover fog light use
You can use lexan-it is a clear plastic that is used in the aircraft industry-cut it to size with a jigsaw cutter-a little smaller than the opening-hold in place with some double back tape that is used to hold moldings on with-also the lexan can be heated and bent/formed-cheers Denny
Common fault with bm .you get plastic covers on ebay that clip on over your fogs . Cost around 15 bucks .

it sounds like it is either a weak battery or the solonoid on the starter motor

you'll need to take your VIN and the radio serial number (located on the back of the radio) and maybe even one of the keys to a BMW dealer and they will look it up for you.
and i am assuming you looked in your original paperwork/owner's manual and its not there, right?
This is a normal problem and you need to replace it asap. The camshaft position determines when top dead center compression of the #1 cylinder occurs and the convertsit into a pulse signal that is sent to the pcm , then the pcm uses it to determine the correct injection sequence.
