It's the same chain that's used on electric scooters. A #25 chain. Go to electricscooterparts.com. The item numbers are CHN-HD2548 for about a foot of chain-get more if needed, CHN-HD25ML for the master link, CHN-HL for a half link and CHN-25HL for a link and a half just in case. All for less than $20
SOURCE: 1998 Chrysler Town Country 3.8L Does it Have Timing Belt Or Chain
your engine does have a timing chain, these are very durable, there is no set maintenence interval for them. you can tell how much chain slack you have by gabbing your crankshaft pulley with both hands and rotating it back and forth to feel the chain tightening, it should be a minimul amount of rotation. you should get well over 200k mi. of service without worry. i hope this answers your questions, or at least sets your mind at ease.

if the bolt itself is broke try getting it off with a pair of vice grips if the bolt sticks out enough otherwise you could take it to a welding shop and have them weld a nut onto the bolt so you could get it out and go to the dealer and buy a new one.

First open the hood of your car and check where the leak is coming. Thermostat gasket is one source but
it could also come the radiator, radiator hose, or the
water pump. Check all these items, and you can do
the repairs by replacing the defective parts. Except for
water pump that really needs a mechanic to replace the
bearings and the mechanical shaft seal.

It's for a 2010 model, not 2007. Not sure why that year posted to my question.
