SOURCE: Where is the OBD 2 ECU plug on a 1994 Honda Civic

should be located about 1" from the end of the dash, on the passenger's side. It's a 2P connector, which you jump with a paper clip, and is up under the edge of the dash. The Data Link Connector (3P) and the Service Check Connector (2P) are both housed in a protective rubber mount. Carefully, pry the Service Check Connector free.

How to get my obd plug to read on a 1996 honda accord?

In some of the older model cars the OBD was powered by the cigarette lighter fuse lead, Check this first. If that does' not work check your reader in a comparable vehicle and check to see if your reader is a Type 1 plug or Type 2. And if all else fails go to any Advance Auto parts and they will check it for you to see if your plug is reading!

Honda civic hybrid code p1433 and p1600

The P1600 is a generic OBD II code. It just means that a more specific code (Honda) has been set. To find the specific code you have to take it to the dealer or have a Vetronics Mastertech scan tool to get the actual code. The P1433 indicates thats the the main battery contactor or the by-pass contactor is staying active when it should not. Using an Actron pocket code reader will only read generic OBD II codes. Hope this helps.
