Nissan murano center console, radio and air, back-up camera stopped working after battery was replaced

    the dealer never mentioned this to me when i took it in today, they just wanted to charge me $450.00 to diagnose and inspect

    Same thing happened to me with a 2007 Murano after a jump start. Dealer said they would have to run diagnostic test. Luckily, it was the "back-up batter fuse" that caused everything on the console to stop working. One fuse and a new battery later, I'm back in business.

    rip-offs sorry about that....you know you can go to "alldatadiy.com"  for 27 dollars a year you can get all the info you want anytime for your car codes, diagrams, infor and priceing and even how much the shop has to charge for labor and parts...cheaper thatn 450. GOOD LUCK.

2014 nissan murano 12v power outlet at Center console and Cargo Area not working.
The fuse for the console outlets is a 20 amp fuse #33 in the fuse block. There is a relay involved and a 10 amp fuse for the control side of this relay. It, the fuse, is #19 in the fuse block. Check both fuses as either can make the circuit not function.

Replaced battery on 2006 murano and now display for radio, air, etc does not come on
According to the owners manual - -
To turn on the screen, push the "SETTING", trip
control, air conditioner (except rear window defroster
button) or audio button.

There's nothing in the book about special instructions should the battery be disconnected, so if the screen will not come on I would guess a fuse or something happened to the power source.

Back up camera
I agree with Mike. The same thing happened to my 2007 Murano after I needed to get a battery jump -- my screen went black, no back-up camera, couldn't turn on radio or HVAC.

Brought it into my dealership who changed the battery, then they wanted to run a diagnostic (around $105/hr). I asked about the fuses, and thankfully, as it turns out, it was the "back-up battery fuse." Just paid for the battery and labor for that, and the fuse.

How to Remove Car Radio from Nissan Murano
If you disconnect one of the battery cables for about 30 sec and reconnect it, that will reset the CD player. Then you can put in the key and see if can eject the offending CD. My bet is that it won't. I own a 2006 with a failing CD (getting it replaced on warranty next week). The CD player in these cars is a real stinker. Nissan should be ashamed.
