Mitsubishi Montero Ls 95, A/T light flushing after 10mins

Would replacing the Speed Sensor stop the A/T light flushing after the every 3-4miles of driving? Will this also stop the RPM gauge going up 3500 or 4000 upon running abt 55 t0 65 on highway, Finally will this help the Montero ls, 95 to start okay other than starting in number 2?

"Check Engine Soon" Light in the panel board suddenly turned on.

You need to have someone scan the computer for trouble codes. Most auto parts stores will do this in hopes of selling you some parts.
Once you get the code or codes you can research them online.
The codes will point you in the direction of what to inspect, not what to replace.

Our speedometer stopped working on our 05 montero and also the anti skid lights stay on all in the same day o yeah and the check engine light came on also we did have the four wheel system replace...

sounds like vehicle speed sensor on the transmission is bad. should take it back for warranty. or may have come unplugged somehow. That will make the check engine light come on.

95 montero sputter and loses power when gas padel is push hard

If there is a check engine light take it to a auto parts store to double check what i think it is. If you O2 sensor has failed or your M.A.S. sensor (mass airflow sensor) has failed then your engine will not regulate fuel properly.

Speed sensor not working how to change it where is it located

the speed sensor is located in the transmission near the prop shaft. has nothing to do with the clock. you may want to check the fuses first

Is it possible to adjust a throttle position sensor on a 2000 montero sport?

when your vehical throws a code and you replace the defective part, you must clear the code or the ecm will still recognize it as an active code.

A/T light montero 95

Something in the transmission was damaged or broken going up that very sharp hill, when it almost died. The A/T light flashing is the vehicle's computer has sensed something malfunctioning, and is flashing because of that..It has a diagnostic trouble code stored in it.More than likely, the trans is going to have to come out to be repaired.I would remove the trans pan first.Relatively easy to do,and if inside the pan there are chunks or sizeable pieces of metal, then there is definitely damage internally.
