they have 4 pots (vary resistors) that the PCM compares, to make sure they never disagree, they can for 6 reaons, one of 4 pots are bad. the motor is weak, or the shaft is binding, TV shaft. "thorttle valve" the PCM is paranoid about his , due to FLy by wire bs, it is in grear fear of out of control throttle . That is how it works ask more get more.

if this is a manual transmission it should take 80-90 weight gear oil,the same as in the differential.if its an automatic trans then us the manufactures required oil as with auto trans oil they have different additives that if the wrong one is put in it can cause problems.
