SOURCE: where do you put clutch fluid in - in a 2001 Kia

Under the hood next to the brake reservoir, is a smaller fluid tank with brake fluid in it. It is the clutch master cyl. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: In my 1997 Kia Sephia there is brake fluid from

It's your master cylinder. The part is about $55.00. Fluid leaking onto the floor boards is an indication that the seals on the Master cyilinder have failed. I would fix this as soon as possilbe, as the clutch might quit working all together any time.

You need to bleed the lines with a special tool, contact the dealer on this.

You will need to locate the clutch slave cylinder/concentric slave bleed screw usually visable. You will need brake fluid, bleed bottle, correct spanner to slacken off bleed screw, top up clutch fluid resevoir, fit pipe to bleed screw get someone to press down clutch as u open bleed screw watch for air and the tighten do this till no more air is visible in the pipe. Remember to keep reservoir topped up.

Where is the clutch reservoir on a 2004 kia spectra

Sorry I don't know but if it is a hydraulic clutch and not a cable, the clutch master cylinder should be simple to locate as it is generally mounted on the engine compartment/passenger compartment firewall in approximate alignment with the clutch pedal.

Once the clutch master cylinder is located the reservoir won't be far from it. The traditional type of clutch reservoir has almost been superceded by a semi-sealed type. Sometimes the reservoir is remote and connected by a tube and often a fluid supply from the brake reservoir is used.

Details should be found in the vehicle handbook...

Is there a place to add transmission fluid to a 2002 kia sport age clutch, mine is slipping

no transmission fluid in a clutch system
only brake fluid
and that is in the reservoir at the top of the clutch master cylinder or shared with the brake master cylinder
if the clutch is slipping it indicates the need to replace the clutch master cylinder or tor replace the clutch assembly
Clutch master cylinder is cheaper and easier and is generally the main reason for slipping clutches unless you have a cable clutch in which case replace the cable

Clutch fluid reservoir on 2005 Kia Sportage where is it located

In the brake fluid reservoir. Both are the same. No clutch pedal, replace the slave or master. I would replace both.

Will not go into gears even if pressing down on clutch

Check the fluid reservoir. If it's low on fluid, fill the reservoir and pump the clutch pedal until you feel resistance from the clutch. If the reservoir is full, and the clutch isn't disengaging, you likely have a bad release bearing or broken linkage. If it is a bearing problem you're most likely into a clutch replacement.

2003 kia rio ,hard to shift into 1st gear

check the fluid in the reservoir for the clutches slave cylinder
If low add fluid and pump the clutch 25 times before starting up the engine. It should shift great after the pumping proceedure. If not the slave cylinder is at fault
