Whistle noise We have a '07 corolla. On windy days there is a loud whistling sound. If you crack the window the noise will go away, but on cold days this is a pain. The car has 39,000 miles so don't know if this would be covered under some other warranty. I have the same exact problem with my '07 dodge charger but it doesn't stop when i let the window down. It is very annoying and embarrassing. I know it has something to do with the wind but i dont know where the problem is.

Vw sharan loud whistling from front of car

one of the cabin seals has come lose or part of the plastic under the windscreen has a gap, can happen with plastic. just need to reseal the gap or refit it and seal at the same time. its body panel sealer can get it in a tube for a sealer gun or you can get the brush on type from most car part stores.

Loud whistling noise when travelling at higher speeds (ie above 50mph)

I had a problem with a whistling car after 50 mph and it turned out to be the front window gasket. I put silicone on the trim and problem solved.

Loud whistling sound on 1999 GMC Suburban

It sounds like your Idler pully bearing or your tensioner bearing. Regardless change them both and the surpentine belt too. The sound is letting you know that the bearinf is bad and will fail soon. Good luck

I have a whistle or humming noise from the front of 05 Montana.

Put wide tape on different areas of the windshield edge as a test to see if the noise changes. Then you may know where the noise originates and can correct the noise.
Just by chance,it is a wind noise? and not a front wheel bearing going bad?which is common on these vehicles and can create a humming at different speeds.Next time when the hum shows up turn the steering wheel slightly left and right at road speed and if you can change the hum,it's 99% a wheel bearing.
