2002 Chrysler 300M 3.5 high output won`t rev past 2500 rpm in any gear. If i drive the car it will drive o.k.. Once the rpm goes to 2500rpm it will act like a rev limiter. this will happen in any gear (park or drive). what could the problem be. I check all vacuum, replace spark plugs, two primary o2 sensor. The engine require excessive cranking many time before starting. while cranking it will try to start but die, or sputter.the fuel pressure is showing 45psi on the gauge. when i drive the car and the rev hit 2500rpm, the transmission will not shift to allow normal diving.
thank you

when I turn the ign key on the air control flap will become active by moving quickly into position. I am thinking this issue might be the CPS (crank or cam position sensor). Every time the rev hit 2500rpm the trans shifting will fail. i will then pull over to the side of the road and re-start the engine with many cranks.Once started i`ll continue driving below 2500 rpm all the way to 60mph with gear shifting perfect.
thanks for the help.
either cam sensor or timing belt look at the cam/crank signals on a scope
if the differance is lower than -14 or higher than+14 check the timing belt marks
