On pavement it will do that (all four tires gripping at the same time/skipping around a corner/locked up) in the dirt the traction is not as much because the dirt has give (friction).

on my 2004 ram 2500, I had to depress the trip odometer button and turn on the Ignition. all lights on instrument panel will illuminate, continue to hold button in and tach/speedomenter will run full up and back down. once this has completed, the obd codes will be shown in the odometer.

if you do it do it at the dealer that you got it from so it wont void the warranty. that way you keep it in place and they can also tell you the specifications as to what you need to do ,if anything to the front of the truck

Tie rod end is 35 ft. lbs. Pinch bolt for the lower ball joint - 105 .I hope this helps you
