The starter pinion is grinding on the flywheel,
classic on all cars.
1: low battery voltage caused by 10 things. use a voltmeter 10-v minimum cranking, if not post actual voltage
2: starter pinion shaft seizing.
3: starter solenoid seiziing.
4: engine seized, turn over by hand at front of pulley ,is it ok?
6: damaged flywheel ring gear,
7: starter bolts loose causing it to jam due to tilt.
8: starter bad, shorted, or weak,

engine seized has many paths, even hydralocked, so i check that first. to avoid, total destruction of same.
i turn it over by hand with my big wrench. key off. in park or neutral if M/T

2004 Pontiac Aztec having key/starting problems. Will start but not on some occasions without "playing" with wheel/tilt. Someone mentioned had to get "key coded" for the new key? Match VIN with key?

What grinds ? the starter ? if so it's not a key / ignition area problem . If the starter didn't do anything it could be a key / ignition switch problem . It's sounds like you really should take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop .

My 2004 kia spectra will not start, even when i replaced a new starter

Did you replace the starter yourself or have a garage do it? It sounds like the starter gear is not aligned properly with the ring gear on the engine. Sometimes a 'shim' is needed to make them align. Compare the old starter with the new one to see they are exact or is if a shim fell off when removing the old.

How do i remove the fron't door panal on a 2004 kia optima lx

To removed the door panel. Remove 1 screw in the grab handle pocket, 1 behind the door open lever, and 2 screws at the forward edge, the bottom edge, and the rear edge. Remove the small window-corner speaker if equipped. Then lift off the door panel. Don't lift too far, there are wires to disconnect.

Door won't open?

For those of you whose door is shut and you cannot open it, here is the trick that the Kia mechanic. Insert the key into the door lock. In one quick motion, simultaneously turn the key to the unlock position AND pull the handle. It took us several attempts to finally get it to work.

2001 kia optima lx keyless entry system reprogram

The 01 Optima had the keyless entry buttons right on the key itself. I'm not sure if the LX had the option... it was standard on the SE version. In any case, programming is done at the dealership, and is expensive. They use their special "code reader / writer" that plugs into the OBD II port under the dash. You provide all keys and they are recoded to the module that is located under the stereo. A cheaper option might be an aftermarket alarm installed at a local car audio shop. They are less expensive than you might think, even installed. Good luck.
P.S. the 01 Optima remote key had a problem with very short range. You needed to be within a few feet of the doors for it to work.

Car has a hard time starting

The teeth on your flywheel or the teeth on your starter are chewed up. Since the teeth are chewed up but stiil present, they put a heavy load on the starter which in turn will draw a lot of power from the battery. If you have the ways and means take the starter out and inspect the teeth that attach to the flywheel. If they are stripped/worn/chewed up replace the starter if that doesn't work, take a flashlight and take a look in the little hole where the starter gear goes and take a look at your flywheel. If the teeth are real shiny take a look at your flywheel. Sometimes the starter will strip the teeth off of the flywheel, sometimes vise versa.

Keyless remote wont work dont know how to program

I have a 2004 Kia Optima EX V6. You have to get a new battery for your key fob(s) and take to dealer to program it. It can only be programmed when they hook it up to the computer. Cost around 40 bucks from Kia. Call around some use to charge only 10 bucks. Good luck.
