Immobiliser fob battery dead? Battery flat? Corroded battery or earth terminals? Dead starter motor or relay? Engine seized (will it bump start if manual?)?

You need to describe what happens when you turn the key.

Is there warning signs before the alternator goes out

Should have a gauge or 'idiot light' that warns you that they system is not charging, other than that your lights would been dim.

Car wont turnover but car is getting power - tried to jump but still wont start - no clicking noise at all

start by troubleshoot the alternator, your Car Battery and, Starter. It has to be one of the tree, it could also be the terminal wires connected to one of the three components.

Serpentine belt broke and was replaced. Now car will not start.

what do you mean "wont start" do you mean it turns over and wont start, or wont turn over?? belts dont just break, if the car wont turnover, take the belt off and manually spin every pulley with your hand, all should spin freely (except the large bottom crank pulley) you may find that one of them is siezed.

Car wont start

It sounds like the timing belt snaps based on the hissing sound that you described............if it cranks lightly without much load then it is confirmed the timing belt has snapped.

Car wont start but will turnover

ya hi there do you know motor size and year ? can you locate the ignition coil ? if so check to see 12 volts is present when you turn ignition to start position? check all fuses and also check relay's take each relay out and wiggle back in might be a bad connection .
