Back seat will not go back up. It goes up part way only. Is there some other lever I need to depress? [email protected]

Someone put the back seat to the van down. I pulled the lever on the side, and the seat is not going back up. It goes up part way and then gets stuck. Is there something else that I need to do?

There should be another lever on the backside of the seat. i think it's on the same side of the side lever. that's where mine is.

How to remove bottom of back seat to recharge battery

there are two clips (levers) in each front corner of the back seat. Depress the lever on one side and lift that corner, then move to the other corner and do the same. The seat should come out forward.

How to get my 94 geo prizms back seats to fold down

old post but is a tricky feature, never posted here.

prizm = toy corolla.
so the operators guide is more easy to find.
4 0 million corolla's made, a world record.
and means facts on it not rare.
page 16 covers this, and has a special switch there,
to prevent what you are attempting.
per this drawing.

22020842-5jivdbcvwbjyt0yxwjt3tz1t-1-0.jpg "This system deactivates the lock release
lever so that things locked in the
trunk can be protected.
1. Push down the security lock levers
to lock the rear seatbacks.
On vehicles with built-in child restraint,
only the left seatback has a lock lever and
can be lowered. The right seatback cannot
be folded down.
After locking the rear seatbacks, try folding
them down to make sure they are securely
locked, otherwise, someone could
get into the trunk by folding down a rear
seat."

so if your car has this feature. and is ENABLED>
only locksmith can help you.
drive there and get it cured.
easy no?

now page 16b, with out this feature.

so we cant really answer, as we dont really know which car you have option wise. but i answered you, both ways.

99 jimmy back seat lever is busted wont fold down HELP!

The best thing to do here is have an auto trim shop remove the seat cover and repair it rather than the more expensive dealer option.

Ait bag warning light on, plus passenger seat doesnt fold forward correctly and difficult to get back in the correct position after letting passengers into the rear. 2002 cooper. thanks

Regarding the passenger seat, to allow someone into the back seat, push the seat back lever DOWN. This will flip the back of the seat forward and allow the seat to slide forward. Simply push firmly on the seat back (no need to touch the lever) and it will return to its original position.

If you pull the seat back lever UP, you can adjust the recline angle of the seat back. Pulling the lever UP will also let you fold the seat and slide it forward, however, it will not return to its original position.

Sorry, cannot solve your airbag question.

Does the 1995 villiger have a dip stick for the transmission fluid

yes right in front.

ATF Level
  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
  1. Apply the parking brake and position wheel blocks to prevent the vehicle from moving.
  1. While depressing the brake pedal (2455), shift the gearshift lever through each range, pausing in each range, until the ATF reaches the normal operating temperature of 66-77°C (151-171°F).
  1. Place the gearshift lever back in the PARK (P) position, remove the fluid level indicator (7A020), wipe it clean, and replace it, making sure it is securely seated in the oil filler tube (7A228).
  1. NOTE: Use the cool range (bottom) marks as a rough automatic transmission fluid (ATF) level reference only when the automatic transaxle is cool (30-50° C [86-122°F]). Use the hot range (top) marks when the automatic transaxle is at normal operating temperature (66-77°C [151-171° F]).

Remove the fluid level indicator again and inspect the transmission fluid level.

How do i put my backseat down on my 1999 jeep cherokee?

first, you have to lift up the seat it self, and tilt it forward towards the front seat using the loop handle. (the back of the seat goes from 3:00 up to 12:00)
then pull the lever on the top of the seat-back (near the head rest) and move it from 12:00 to 9:00.

My trunk wont open!!

Someone else posted the same problem, so I went out to my Focus and found a way to release the back seats. It is diffecult, but possible, to push the release lever in the trunk with a thin board (like a 4 foot piece of baseboard) through the space between the seats. The release lever is in the upper corner (passenger side) of the trunk. Get something to wedge between the seats and a flashlight. Post the result if this works.
