Wha t is the valve setting for a 2000 deawoo 1.6

Hi the A16DM Lanos engine has hydraulic valve lifters , the clearances are thus automatically adjusted , make sure the lifters are bled and primed before installation , inspect the camshaft for wear as wear in this area would result in tappet noise .

Hope this helps a bit

Have a 99 lanos-clutch

As long as it does not slip (eng speeds up, but car doesnt) you MAY have a clutch hydraulic problem. Ck that first. If the clutch hydraulics are OK then the only thing that could do that it a pilot bearing bad (seizing) but I dont think that is your problem.

How do I know if my front wheel bearings are going out in my car

Jack up the car (SAFELY) so one wheel is just clear of the ground.

Grip the wheel with both hands and see if there is any movement when you "pull / push" the wheel.

If there IS movement ..... you need new bearings.

Good luck.
