The control signal to the purge valve is outside its nominal range.

Most likely cause is a failed purge valve. In your case it has likely stuck open, hence poor mileage. As always, check for loose fuel cap or fuel vent leak.

code p0443=It's whining about the control circuit for the purge valve. Make sure you are getting power to the valve, and you see 12 volts on the control side as well.

code p0445 might be just a gas cap problem.

maybe a fuse is blown? did you have the mechanic check the fuses? or even check all your relays and wiring?

You'll need to replace the purge solenoid in order to correct his code.

danbalue, a code P1765 means Transmission 12V Supply Relay Control Conditions and P1494 means EVAP LDP Pressure Switch Fault Conditions.
