where you can found it. replacing it can be done under hood, by removing brake booster hose and or by under the vehicle. disconnect first cable going to starter. then need to remove the two starter bolts and starter.

Fairly common problem on the 03-06 Rainier instrument clusters, it's caused by failing stepper motor on the cluster's circuit board and it can be fixed. Check out this page for more on it - Rainier oil gauge broken
