How do I stop water from coming in the right back of my lexus rx 300 model suv and in the spair tire well

My RX 300 leaked in the same spot. I had to replace the rubber gasket around the rear hatch lid. It stopped the leak.

Why does my forester roof leak?

Once source of leaks is the rubber tube that runs from the roof line to the rear hatch, and contains the rego plate light, rear window heater and locking circuits. Look at the seals under the hatch hinges. If there's nothing obvious, pull some of the internal headers to see where the water is coming from. May still be the moon roof. Water will run down any available slope.

2007 vw bug alarm sounds when it rains hatch light stays on

Likely your hatch light is what is setting off your alarm. Spray water around the hatch switch area with everything closed. Check for leaks.

Leaking water aroung hatch back

You will need to look carefully for water trails, to find the source.
It could be coming from the weather stripping or a cracked tail-light.
If the car was involved in an accident, maybe the seal let go on one of the tail-lights. If you come up empty handed then try asking for help by a friend and have them run water over the hatch-back area while you are inside looking and feeling around. Good luck.

05 almera hatch back

can be the rear door seal (check for damage)

or seal around the rear light cluster but that's less likely

Y is the carpet in my x5 boot wet (where the sat nav goes)

most likely the sunroof casette is leaking; either the drains are clogged,the casette is allowing water to leak, or you have the older casette with poor water management;i would open your rear hatch and check the drain, with the hatch open, there are two drains one on each side at the top of the body, where the hatch meets the body; there is a small door to each drain(recommend removing) if you open that small door and water pours out most likely thats the souce of your leak. you can also see if you can push water into the drains to unclog them; you can also lower the headliner in the rear, open the sunroof, and pour water into the casette to see where the water leaks out and go from there; usually the backing on the headliner doesn't soak up water and it channels the water into one area; since your vehicle is an 05 and hopefully under 75000 miles the dealership can goodwill a repair. you may even look into an aftermarket extended warranty and make sure they cover the sunrrof in the warranty; replacing a sunroof casette is a big job, not recommended for the diy;
