2001 dodge dakota, crank no start, no bus displays on dash
Just had that problem w/ my 01 Dekota, it was the resistor that used to be mounted on the firewall and easy to get to but that is now mounted low on the back of the engine jammed into a bey tight position. I couldn't get to it myself, so ended up taking it to neighborhood garage. Cost me about $150

i started my dakota put it in gear went 10 to 15 feet and it died. tried to restart it just cranked finnaly it said no bus on the odometer and the gearshift indicator goes from p r n d 1 2 and then does it again and again. if you just turn on the key and dont try to start it the milage flashes 4 times then says no bus and the shift indicator imideatly runs its paces even in accessory mode. help will be appriceated, thanks
