I have a 206 peugot 10 years old, i have been strongly adviced to change fan belt when mileage hits to 70 000, so i was just wandering how much and is it really worth it?

you mean the timing belt i presume ,ten years old low mileage but its the age ,the belt may be ok but take the top part of the cover off and look at the belt ,if you can the shape of the teeth showing on the back of the belt then change it as they only cost 16euros for the petrol engine and they are very easy to change done one yesterday andf it took me all of 20mins .

Volvo s40 late 2003 105000km. Extra service price

Hi,you should change cambelt pully(there is a bearing inside pully before it worn out completely,it will cause high friction and heat to burn out your bell and rattling noise).buy cambelt pully from the dealer then take it to the garage ask them to put it in for you (labor about 30.00 dollars)...the rest is ok to wait until 150.000 miles.
good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
