Location of fusible link for alternator on 2003 Ford escape v6 4x4

There is no fusible link. Locate "Fuse B" 120 AMP located in the battery junction box located at front left corner of engine compartment. With engine off, key off, both sides of the fuse should measure +Battery Voltage. Reference negative post for testing.

2003 ford escape the daytime running lights constantly flash until the headlights are turned on. And now the battery light is on.

The flashing could be caused by the alternator...that would explain why the battery light is on.

Transmission Problem - Ford Escape 2006

P0732 and P0734 indicates gear ratio errors in 2nd and 4th gears, basically no 2nd and 4th gear. The one thing 2nd and 4th gear has in common is the band, the band is known to break, this is a common failure with this transmission and happens on a regular basis.

You need to remove the transmission to repair it.

Replacing alternator in 2004 escape

Have the whole battery/charging sytem tested. If it has an external voltage regulator or a bad battery, these things can kill a perfectly good alternator.

Replacing Alternator on 2001 Ford Escape, V6 Engine

there should be 2 bolts that hold it in place maybe 3 but you need to loosen the top one and loosen the bottom one to allow slack in the belt.you take the old belt off and put the hew one on and then u need a prybar to put pressure against the new alternator to take the slack out of the belt and tighten the bolts up at the same time. on the back of the alternator you will find 2 screws that have to be taken loose and put back the same way on the new alternator. make sure u take the pos battery cable loose from the battery before u begin
