I have experienced this problem on similar vehicles. You should try and replace the coolant temp sensor. If it is not reading the correct temp to the ecm, it will not get the right fuel map. Also, the cts will not always throw a code.

SOURCE: 87 chevy 350 fuel injected pickup wont run smoothly

sounds like your egr valve is gummed up or bad. this is located behind the throttle body and has a single vaccum tube connected to it. if the diafram is still good you can remove it and clean it with WD 40 until the plunger works smooth

What must i do when i starthe car early in the morning preparing to drive

The first thing you will want to do is warm the car up at least 5 minutes before taking off. The bad habit that people have is turning there vehicles on and driving away that same second. Always let it warm up a couple of minutes, also if you want to check the fluids and make sure there toped off. A fluid check is really a once a week thing, there really is nothing else unless you are having problems with you'r vehicle. Just letting it warm up in the morning is the only real thing you have to do when before you leave in the morning. The last aspect to mention would be just tire pressure. If you have all those things then you should be in good shape.

Hope this Helps!

I have a 2003 Honda Civic, I notice that it only takes a few seconds for my vehicle to warm up to normal. I can drive my vehicle for approximately 30 miles before I can see that it starts to over heat,...

Usually caused by a blown head gasket. Open the radiator cap and start the engine. Make sure the system is full of coolant and keep it full as the engine warms up. Once it's warm and the thermostat is open, allow a couple minutes for any air to bleed out. If bubbles continue to come up the radiator, your head gasket is blown. If you aren't getting bubbles, the problem may be a clogged radiator. Look to see if the coolant is flowing in the radiator. If you have more questions, please let us know.

TRUCK DIES AND WONT START FOR A FEW MINUTES, SOMETIME IT WONT START BACK UP FOR A FEW MINUTES

The next time this happens and the vehicle won't start back up, turn you ignition switch off and when you turn it back on have someone listen near the fuel tank for the fuel pump to make a humming noise. Your problem may be a bad fuel pump or a bad electrical conection to the pump.

Hard start and rough idle.

Sounds like it's time for a tune up of the ignition system. That would be easiest. If not, have a mechanic check your cylinder compression.

Ticking Noise in 01 Chevy Silverado 2500

if noise is higher pitched and coming in on valve time...(2wice for every revolution of motor..ie: faster)...then upper end pressure is down due to sludge, wear , lifter failure, valvespring failure, rocker stud lifting out of cylinder head (kinda common) cam bearings failing (very rare)..oil pump bypass stuck open..and a few other possibilities... respond and we will go over lower end sound (deeper ,slower) and see what identifies your issues .... miles
