2002 Nissan Altima windows roll down by themselves w/no key in

When I remove the key from the ignition to get out the car and open the door the windows roll down. I roll them up and when I wake up the next day they are all the way down again. It wasn't raining or snowing. Also, I noticed while I was driving that the driver door lock unlocks itself repeatedly.

Any idea of how much this could cost?

You need a body control computer, which controls the windows, door locks and other items. The new computer will have to be programed by a good imports shop or Nissan dealer.

My 2005 Nissan Altima front windows roll down by themselves after the keys are out and doors aren’t locked and no one inside or around the car. Never had a issue with it until after a remote start was installed. How can I keep my windows up?

If you put your key in the driver side outside door lock and turn it to the left and hold it there until the windows go back up that should fix the problem. It worked for me. I have a 2002 Altima

I have a 2010 Nissan Altima coupe that the two window open randomly and doors unlock even though I do not have the key fob in my pocket. It's ridiculous because Nissan has known about this for years and conspicuously avoids offering a solution

How to open the door on a 2004 altima if both of my handles dont work

There are f few ways. Bust the plastic handle off the outside . Make sure the door is not locked. If you can get inside the door this way and see a rod near the door handle. Push up and down [ usually down ] on this, door should open . OR Roll the window down. Pry up on the inner door panel by the rubber piece that clears your window. This piece should be able to pry up, enough to see the same rod I am talking about.Usually, these rods push down to open the door. #3 Roll up window, put a small wedge between the window and the door by the door handle. This should get the gap open enough to look down inside the door. Look for this same rod, near the door handle, and push down on it to open the door. replace Hope I was helpful please rate this solution

The driver's side door on my 2003 Nissan Altima will not open from the inside.

The interior door panel will need to be removed from the door. The linkage is no longer connected to the lever- it will need to be reconnected with the window in the UP position. This is a common problem when someone locks their keys in their car and uses a coat hanger to "pop" the lock. The hanger catches the rod and pulls it out. If you did not do that, someone may have targeted your car and attempted to break into it.

MY DOORS WILL LOCK AUTOMATICALLY WHILE THE KEY IS IN OR OUT OF THE IGNITION AND THE VEHICLE CAN BE RUNNING AT TIMES. OR IF I UNLOCK MY CAR USING THE KEY FOB, AND I DON'T OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT THEN, THEY...

This is a safety device that is designed to protect your car. My 2005 Frontier does the same thing. It is designed to auto lock a few minutes the vehicle is turned off. You can override this by locking and unlocking the doors after you have turned the key off, put it in the acc mode, or taken the keys out of the ignition.

Windows keep rolling down on my 2005 Nissan Titan. Anybody had that happen? How do you fix it?

Do you have global opening whre you can hold down your "Unlock" button on your remote and have all the windows open?

Look for water getting into a connector, usually in the wiring in the drivers door. Remove the door trim panel & check the connectors. report back

The windows to driver and passanger are rolling down

I have an 03 Altima and had this happen to me a few times, and had no idea why until I was with a friend when she bought an 07 and it was listed as an extra option on her car! So i took out her manual and sure enough, if you accidently hold down the unlock button on the keyles entry clicker for more than a second, it will roll down the front two windows. Not sure what the point of it is, but that's your problem!

The windows are goin down

If you are accidentally holding down the unlock button on your remote, the windows will go down. It's just one of those features that come in handy on a very hot summer day- you can roll the windows down by doing that. You can't roll them back up by using the remote, though.

If that's not what you're doing, then I don't know!
