I need to know where the thermostat and coolant temperature sensor is located on a 2001 daewoo leganza

the thermostat is behind the front engine cover and you will also need to remove the timing belt to get at it ,the temperature sensor is on the cylinder head but i cannot remember exactly as i get confused between this vehicle and the opel astra model which is the europeon version or a vauxhall in the UK or a holden down under

Knocking sound came from my 2ltr leganza motor.

if u need new engine 2.2 would require computer, harness and not sure about trans its not worth it stick with original size if car still cranks/turns motor may still be repaired but if u cant turn crank shaft its done. check oil condition and level also might be good idea to inspect timing belt and tensioner may not have been adjusted or installed correctly also may now have a bent valve. when u know what ur in for then make decision weather to fix or scrap/donate
