Unable to find a spare or replacement key for my 2002 Kia Sedona

I've gone to key making places in my town and none of them carry the type of key needed to make me a spare or two. I've gone to the dealership I bought it from and they said they don't have any either. When I bought the van there was only one key and one lock/unlock button pushing device. It makes for a very hard and expensive time for me if they get locked in the van or lost or such because, I have no spare to help me out. No the key does not have a chip in it. It is a regular key. I'm frustrated and would really like to know where to find a place or way to get some extra keys to my van.

    nope walmart and ace are the places in my town to get keys made and neither of them carry the key needed to make spares

My key broke in half. I had go to the dealer with my VIN and they were able to make a new one in the parts department. Cost about $15.

When replacing the thermostat on a 2002 kia sedona should I use a gasket on the housing since there wasn't one on it when I took it apart
yes always use a gasket . if there was no gasket then it was factory done. heat over years will warp the surface please use a gasket and none harmful sealer.

Replace multifunction switch 2002 kia sedona
disconnect the battery. all you have to do to replace the switch is remover the steering column cover by removeing 3 Philips screws from underneath and then it pulls apart in 2 pieces. then there are 2 screws that hold the switch in place remove them and slide the switch out.

2002 kia sadona i lost my keys and i got the spare but no remote and i tried to start and wont ?
There is a cip in ya old key that ya lost and the comp. does no reconize the new key. You will have to have it reset at the dealship and it should start fo you. You may also take the ser.Numbers off the car and have them make you a new key and it should work just fine for you.

Intermittent oil light comes on after 2002 Sedona has been running around town..Serious issue or not???
Assuming the oil level is full the answer is yes.
Have the pressure tested with a mechanical gauge. You may need to just replace the sending unit but it's best to check. If engine makes any tapping noises when light is on do not drive it till it has been checked out.
