Leak in power steering system four winns boat

you might have released trapped air into the system. open the pump fill and see if there are air bubbles ..if so go to youtube and search removing air from power steering pump.. that's my guess

2010 Camaro Power Steering Failure

It means the power steering pump is no longer operating and so providing the required power assistance.
You either have a power steering fluid leak in the system and much of the fluid has been lost or the power steering pump itself has failed. You should not try and drive the car when you have this problem because the steering will be far too heavy to drive safely and because if a fluid leak has run the pump nearly dry you will cause damage to the PS pump.

The first thing to do is check the power steering fluid reservoir in the engine compartment. If it is low or empty you have a leak in the system. You can refill the system with new fluid but it will continue to leak until the leak is addressed and you will have to constantly add new PS fluid. In the case of a major leak the car will not be driveable as the PS fluid will be lost very rapidly. Without fluid you will quickly ruin the pump and you will also have no power assistance in your steering.

Power Steering Box Dirty

Must be a short or ground. Make sure the wires aren't touching each other or the metal chassis.

look at the boots for the tie rod ends if there wet the steering rack is leaking internally

Make sure it's power steering fluid and not oil. The turbo has nothing to do with the power steering. If it is a power steering leak, it could be anywhere in the system. Someone will have to look over the system to find the leak.

Good luck. We have just gotten my dad's '99 expedition home from the Ford dealer again. This started in June with the power steering leaking and making a screeching noise. He paid $550.00 and it still leaked. Four months later and numerous visits, the dealer said he would have to pay another $250.00 for an EVO ? part. Also, they wanted to charge him $45.00 for an INSPECTION FEE !!! to tell him that this was leaking and needed this part! We are writing to Ford Motor Company tomorrow to report this dealer for customer abuse. Hope you have better luck. By the way, go to an auto parts store and purchase the part you need - you will save a TON of money.

Dealer, but did you check the Power steering fluid level??or any leaks. There are two hose that connect to the gear box from the power steering pump. if the pump is low on fluid you lose your power steering, if the hose has a leak or it blew and lost the power steering fluid then you lost your power steering again. 
Check the fluid level to the power steering pump and any leaks or broken hose to the gear box.
