2008 chevy tahoe hybrid - battery dead?

I left the radio on for a few hours, and when i went to start it up, everything turned on for a moment, then shuts down. is there anything about the hybrid that can help me switch over to the other battery and get it running? do i need to just get a jump to get it started?
thanks.

YOU SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY, CALL ROADSIDE SERVICE TO GET HELP. DON'T TRY JUMPING THE BATTERY YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO OTHER SYSTEMS IF DONE WRONG. THE ENGINE DOSEN'T HAVE A STARTER ON IT ANYWAY.

I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe with an unexplained battery drain, what could it be? help please

You could have a parasitic drain. Something that is left on in the car and drains the battery. It could also be a corroded terminal on the battery where the alternator is not getting power to charge the battery . Clean the post and the connector of all deposits and install those felt washers under the terminals to impede further corrosion.

That symbol means low voltage in the system, you have a dead or defective battery. These new sealed batteries can go out of the blue, starts fine and then a few minutes or hours later nothing, no crank no start. You can confirm the battery is the problem by honking the horn, it will dribble out a noise or not work at all if the battery is dead or nearly dead.

Hello, 2008 hhr, battery went dead, replaced, went dead again over night, re-charged and now i have no power at all, chacked all fuses and they are good ?

the alternator as got one way diodes in it. charge up the battery and disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few hours etc, put the lead back on , if it starts you need a new alternator, the alternator will of been discharging to earth when not running, good luck.

2008 Tahoe Battery charging voltage

it is normal
as after a start the battery is discharged a heavyload to the starter and everything else that is turning on with the key.

you are not letting any battery damage occure.

it is simply replacing the energy used and then leveling off again and maintaining.

unless you see the battery boiling all is well and be sure it is performing just right for you.

hope this helps

thank you

1999 Chevy Tahoe won't Start. Motor will not turn over.

I'm assuming that by turning over, you mean that the engine fails to turn with the starter . Check your battery for 12v and make sure all connections are clean and secure. If battery has less than 12v charge it and check the charging system after re-starting. Lights and radio do not pull the same amperage as the starter and may not tell you much about battery condition. If you have full battery voltage, check the starter for 12v at the battery connection and the small (trigger wire) for 12v with the key turned to start position. If you have both, likely starter has failed.
