There is an accelerated clicking/knocking noise when i start driving my hyundai elantra 2000. I can turn the car on and even press the gas while in park and everything is ok. But as soo as i put in gear AND start to accelerate the clicking starts and increases the clicking noise derastickly...Advise on wht would be the source or problem?

I have check the follow and is non of those things. I can put my car in reverse, pull out of parking place, then put it in drive. I will accelereate to about 5 mph to bout 15mph, between those speeds the problem happens. a clicking/knocking noise that accelerates as i do. Now i can start accellerating slow then hit the gas fast then release and the clicking accellerates real fast and keeps going, then climbs back down.

The noise comes from the front of the car.

No sound doesnt change when turning...just acceleration or staying at some kind of speed. If it was a cv joint how would i get that checked out or fixed?

u have to jack car check for looseness on cv axle joints at tranny and at steering knuckle!but from description of noise seems to be in driveline, could be minor or not, have it inspected !

can be lots of things! description is vague, start by checking under car and around wheels inner fenders to see if something is dragging or caught that would make noise!

Sounds like your CV joints are worn out. If the clicking noise gets worse when turning then its a definite possibility. Also check the CV joint boots for splits as this can quickly wear them out. The dust mixes with the grease to form a grinding paste.

I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra 6spd manual transmission and it has started making a clicking noise when I press the gas pedal. This noise mostly happens on 4th gear. My car has about 4800 miles and...

Honestly, I believe you have given the dealership enough information here to be able to replicate the problem with a mechanic in the car with either you or that mechanic driving.
Best of luck.

I have a 2000 elantra it starts but when you press on th accelerator it boggsdown only goes about 10mph

First of all, are you able to rev up the motor soon after starting to let's say 3000 rpm's? And I mean easily! If not, then it's not in your drivetrain (engine/transmission), but more likely perhaps stuck brakes or slipping

Loud knocking noise engine

Have a oil pressure test done on the engine to determine bearing failure. Have a compression test done to check for internal damage such as broken rings/pistons or overheated motor.. If the noise appears during acceleration then run the fault codes and look for a tuning problem or failed knock sensors

Making a knocking noise

This is most likely either a piston noise or a connecting rod bearing knock
