Hello. I have a problem with the clime control unit. While driving a long road over 70 kmph it is work but in the city it's just ceasing. I went to a service and i checked out the compressor and etc and they told me that the second gear on the fan won't start. Can anyone tell what to change or do ?

Pros: Best value for money in its segment, spacious , excellent leg room for rear seats, reasonably well ground clearance, good mileage, interiors and features one of the best in class, superior build quality, Cheaper by around 2 L when compared to creta or duster...
Cons: Initial pick up less in city.
2017 Maruti S-cross is very good SUV or properly a crossover, black interiors looks excellent, in city feels little lethargic below 1500 rpm but on highway its fun to drive , can easily reach 140 kmph, mileage expect around 14 to15 kmpl in city and around 17 to18 kmpl , suspension bit hard probably for better highway ride, overall good car better than sedans like city or ciaz as you get feel of SUV with good ground clearance to tackle various Indian road conditons and high sitting position is awesome to drive
take it in for a flow test on the radiator
indicates cores are partially blocked
have the cat converter checked as it may be cracked and blocking the exhaust pipe
The tank holds 65 litres. You should use 18 l/100km in city and 12 l/100km on road - that gives you a standard autonomy of 360 km in city and 550 km on road.
270 km is far too little - even if you would drive only thru a very congested/gridlocked city.
Check to ensure that the overdrive is on or you will be running at high revs in top gear. The airconditioning usually switches on another fan so that can help cooling. Often a cooling system can cope with lower speed running but faster and longer trips show up faults in several possible areas: thermostat sticking or only opening partially. radiator partially blocked. electric fan not operating. The above three should be tested. The timing may be out but it is set by computer and would have to have cambelt setting wrong to cause overheating. Waterpumps can wear the impellor but again is rare.
You have a transmission control unit problem unfortunately and I'll warn you - it's not cheap. Your description describes it to a "T". It will reset itself to "LIMP" mode (short distance drivability) and will only reset so many times. You need to take to Ford and have trans control unit replaced. (PS bring your wallet - sorry)
Hello. Since this only happens at high speed I would change the fuel filter and purchase two bottles of a product called seafoam at the auto parts store. This is a fuel additive that works wonders. It goes into the fuel tank, just follow the directions on the amount to add based upon the size of your gas tank.
