SOURCE: ARE THE NUTS AND BOLTS ON MY 96 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER

Most of the vehicle hardware is metric but brake lines could be either. If a 3/8 is too small and a 7/16 is too big then you need a 10mm.

Oil drain plugg striped out leaking how do i fix 2002 Grand marquise

Best way is to remove oil pan and weld in a new nut for drain plug, next best is to retap the threads to a slightly larger size and replace drain plug.( get plug then retap to fit the new plug.) may change from std thread to metric to be able to do this. Lastly the least effective way i know of- buy a small rubber expansion plug that fits in and tighten bolt that runs through it to expand the plug. ( this should work for a while till you can get it fixed properly.

Have purchased a used hood to add to escort we bought w/o a hood.

I believe all escorts have metric threads, so your 5/16"-18 would strip the holes or bolts or nuts. Could you find another escort and "borrow" a bolt out of it long enough to identify it so you could buy some? If "push came to shove", you drill the holes a little bigger, and then just use nuts and bolts there instead of threading the holes.
God bless your efforts.

What size are wheel lugs on 2014 seirra

2wd, or 4 wd?????
use a ruler. (caliper tool?)
one way to find out , no tools.?
is to try to buy lugs.
and it tells you.
autozoned shows 1/2 in. - 20 Thread 2wd.
still not metric, wow, amazing, we are.
or take off one lug nut
walk in to any hardware store and see if 1/2" x 20TP bolt screws in.
if not try all sizes in bin. ask clerk to help, its not hard to do.

if buying nuts, why not ask the sell this. they know.
no job stated. so speculate that.
are you buying lugs, or the wrench that fits them>???????

I have a flat on my 1999 land rover discover now that I have all my tools and jack I can't get the lug covers off because I dont have the factory tool kit any suggestions?

wheel nuts are sizes are the same regardless. The sizes will be either SAE --metric --Asian or metric --Europe . So all you need is a flat bladed screw driver -to remove wheel covers and the socket that fits the nut and a strong bar about 24 " long. Being land rover and made by BMW the nuts will be europe metric the sizes will be the odd sizes of 16-18-20 mm

What is the thread pitch count for a 1997 jeep tj sport?

Likely it's metric but not always... best (cheapest and quickest) way to find proper thread/bolt size is to get a few nuts from a hardware store and see which size fits...or, remove the shift knob on yours (usually there is a nut under the shift pattern diagram plate...you need to pry it out) and have a hardware store match the thread size. I just put a hurst "t" handle on a friends Jeep a few weeks back but can't remember what size the stick thread was. If I knew the question would come up I would have made a note of that!!!

Underdrive Pulley Geo Metro - 1996 the bottom pully is lose and u can move it back and forth there is no bolts holding it in place just the frame and engine i need to know what kind of bolts to get to put...

There should be at least three bolts holding it onto the balancer. Take the pulley off and check the holes to make sure they were not damaged, If they are, use a tap to repair threads. then get a few bolts and see what fits.If you needed a tap use tap size. They likely are metric, close to 3/8 sae in size..(for reference...don't use sae) Make sure they don't protrude too far out the backside or they will hit the engine. If in doubt, turn pulley by hand to make sure.
