I have just bought a peugeot 206 Hdi and the coil light or stop light doesn't go out until you start the engine, is this normal practise for hds's?
I alwasy thought you had to wait for the coil light to go out before starting a diesel engine. Also anyone know what amount of air a 17'' tyre takes please?
Thanks in advance
On driver side door sill either on hinges side or lock side check the sticker for tyre pressure. May be your brake light is for your handbrake. Turn the ignition on but don't start the engine put your handbrake down and check wheather light is still on. Is the coil light your are writing is really for glow plugs or radiator ? Better ask peugeot dealer, they don't charge just for asking and it depends on you to take their sky rising costly repairs or just leave.
Glow plug light should just flicker as not needed until -6 stop light stays on when off until started
