2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L will not stay on

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L. It has around 115,000 miles. In the morning I tried to start my Truck but it never kick over, I sprayed some carb cleaner into the fuel throttle body and it started to kick over but then died. Based on this, what seams to be the problem or what should I check or replace. Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a fuel problem. listen near your fuel tank for the fuel pump buzz or whirring sound while someone turns on the the key. no sound no fuel no start. does not necessarily mean the fuel pump is bad, maybe just no power.

2002 dodge G carvan 3.8 runs greart, sometimes cuts off at idle esp when turning, changed I A C no help, can someone help ?

What are the rpm's showing at idle. They should be around 750. The idle might be a little low. When you turn it uses more power because of the power steering pump. Let me know how it works out

I Have a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500.Both the ABS and Brake Lights are on

Hi!!

Did you have the ABS sensors checked ?? The brake fluid level when low also activates the Brake and ABS lights?? Drive truck to an AutoZone store and ask to have computer codes scanned. This is a free service for all customers. This will help you to pinpoint the problem.

Good Luck!!

Abs Lights on and Speedometer won't work.

Check the ABS sensor on each wheel. Also check all fuses first.

Stalls will not stay running after wormming up

Throttle position senser might be going bad. I had in the same problem in my truck. It wouldn't stay running unless I had my foot on the gas and as soon as I let off, it would die. Try it. The sensers are relatively cheap at Auto Zone or somewhere similar. Around 30 bucks.

Start up time?

The obvious answer is "as short a time as possible". With that said, I usually allow a couple of minutes for fluids to get moving on warm mornings, but up here in Ontario in winter it gets pretty cold some mornings which requires a little extra for defrosting windows etc. I usually try to get moving as soon as it's safe to do so. Idling wastes fuel, contributes to air pollution, and is not good for an engine. Even if you feel better by going easy on the gas for the first few miles, at least your moving.

check if the fan works first, simple run a wire from the battery post positive to the positve wire on the fan if it starts then it works, next step clip the wires on the fan and conect the ground on good metal and the positive on ur fuse box,but not on any fuse, only on the fuse that turns on with the ignition,.
