1995 dodge ram 2500 third brake light works but the rear brake lights don't work

The circuit goes from the brake light switch thru the turn signal switch and uses the same bulbs as the rear turn signals. I would check for power in and out of that switch next.

2003 chevy 1500 rear brake lights not working, but over the cab break light is. bulbs look good, the running lights work.

sounds like a bad turn signal switch . both side brake lights run through it but the third brake l;ight runs direct from the brake light switch .- play with the hazard button a few times and if the start working you need the turn signal switch

What number is the fuse on the trailer brakes

i believe the trailer brakes run off the same fuse as the tail lights no extra fuse all the ones ive seen the trailer lights just fuse into the wiring harness of the rear tail lights so if your brake and turn signals works your prob is gonna be in the trailer lights them self or your connection in the wiring right behind the rear bumper. Hope this helps

2000 Chevy CK, have hazard lights, turn signals,

test your brake switch located on the brake fulcrum. you can unhook the wires and usea paper clip to connect the two wires together if the brake lights come on then replace the switch, if it does not come on and the bulbs are ok then replace turnsignal switch.

Checked all fuses-good, swapped bulbs-good, hazard lights-good, head lights good, turn signals-good but no brake lights. 1995 chevy silverado

Does the turn signals or hazards work in the rear?? Yes... it may be the brake switch or the turn signal switch (power goes from battery, to the brake switch then to the turn signal switch, then to the lights. No? .. again.. possibly turn signal switch or the wiring between cab and bed.

95 chev cheyenne 1500 5.7 club cab

Chevy trucks are known for wiring trouble most likely there is a wire shorted out under the carpet. Always test first though before ripping out interior lol
