Hello, My Mustang has started to have an issue with the engine reving and me not touching the gas. A couple of times when it was in drive it actually accelerated my speed without me touching the gas. Thanks for your help, Leo
Check the throttle body butterfly for excessive dirt build up. Mine had a rolling idle and would want stall in the mornings. The dealer said it was due to my aftermarket tuner and cold air intake..............just a dirty throttle body that i cleaned.
If the check engine light is on get it checked for free at an advanced auto parts house if not look into the mass airflow sensor or the throttle position sensor
