Must have codes for check engine light cleared with scan tool. Check all tire pressures and road test up to 35 mph. Tire message should clear if low tire was problem. If light for tires remains then possible radio frequency sensor problem. Sensor replacement may be necessary. Sensors have alkaline non-serviceable batteries. If battery is dead sensor will have to be replaced.

How to clear the "Check Tires" message from the info panel on the dashboard. I already adjusted the tire pressure in all tires using a digital gauge.

Press the message center SETUP button until the message center displays "Rest for System check". The message center will display "Hold reset to relearn". Hold the reset button. It will cycle through all of its indicators and when it gets to the tire indicator test it will ask you if you want to reset the indicator. Hold the reset button to reset the indicator.

It will not go off until it has been reset.

The check tire presser message is erroneously displayed. The tires are not deflating.

The "Check Tire Pressure" message can come on due to tire wear, even though your tire pressure is fine. Bring up the message and then hold the reset button until the tire pressure restes to normal.

My '05 LeSabre warning light for check tire pressure came on. I checked all 4 tires and they each have 32# of pressure. How do I reset the monitor? No manual in the car. Thanks

make sure your spare is up to 32#'s pressure also , unless its one of the donut tires, turn ignition switch to on with engine off , press and hold GUAGE INFO button which is located to the left of the sterring column until TIRE PRESSURE messgage is displayed , press and hold RESET BUTTON for 5 seconds , TIRE PRESSURE RESET message should appear on display , release RESET button, a TIRE PRESSURE NORMAL message should appear on the display , after ressetting the Tire Pressure Monitor system it requires 30 minutes of straight driving to complete calibration process .

I just changed the oil in my 2002 Impala LS and filled the tires to the proper psi but the message center still reads both messages.....change engine oil..........tire pressure low. What do I need to do to...

ok this can be done 2 different ways 1 , with the radio controls , should be in the owners manual , or the easier way , to reset the oil maintinence light , turn the key to the ON position , engine OFF , depress the gas pedal to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds and it will reset ,

now the tire monitor system , same deal should be in the owners manual , and done with the radio controls , or the easier way , turn key to ON position , engine OFF , cycle the parking lights 3 times within 5 seconds , (turn on - turn off = 1 cycle)

pretty cool huh? but make sure your tires were properly inflated before you reset the tire monitoring system .
