I've been dealing with similar problems (windows and sunroof dead, power locks iffy, dome light doesn't work, random chiming) and best I can figure is:

a) get rid of the leak and any standing water
b) depending on the year of your car check the relays and/or central locking module

I spent a lot of time checking the ECU and door interior parts and those were both dead ends. I also thought the standing water on the floor might be shorting actual wiring, but now I've eliminated that as well. Although my alarm hasn't been going off, the "door chime" has and the instrument cluster sometimes shows 3 or 4 doors open while driving. VAG-COM showed some alarm trip type faults as well. Central locking is my next move when I've got some time.

Check fuse #14. If it is blown, then probably the wire group under the front drivers seat, that operates the rear foot well light behind the drivers seat, is the culprit. unplug the wire under the drivers seat that operates the rear foot well light and probably your problem will be solved.

2004 Audi A3 power windows and central locking have stopped working, are these on the same fuse!!!

Yes they are on the same fuse. If changing the fuse doesn't fix the problem check the passenger footwell for dampness as water can get into the convenience control unit from a possible leaking pollen filter housing. If there is no dampness, the control unit could still cause this problem and it;s situated under the carpet in the passenger footwell.

2002 A6 dumps out the windshield washer fluid out on the ground only when car is warm. if you fill the wiper fluid up and then start the car (when its cold) it works fine. drive the car till its warm and...

HI, if its under the offside front wing, this is where to windscreen fluid bottle is, sounds like you have a leaking pipe or bottle that expands when warm allowing the water out, could of frozen in the bad weather etc causing a small crack.. if it just the end of the pipe that fits on the water pump, snip it off and push it back on, good luck.

I have a'03 liberty sport...the lock on the back door keeps clicking off/on continuously and the window on the door opens...Why does this happen and what is the solution? My air bag light is on as well can...

Your vaccum line in central locking module has a leak that is as well connected with air bag system.I suggest take it to mechanic and check for leaks on vaccum system. If vaccum lines are not leaking, could be vaccum module.

I have fault code 00575 intake manifold pressure on my audi a4 soft top were in engine is this component found

I assume it is a turbo diesel? Then:

Location of the sensor:
- in early cars is in the ECU, with vacuum pipe going from intake maniforld duct to the ECU
- later models on the air intake duct, with wiring going to the ECU.

The fault may often be caused by:

- air leaks in MAP sensor line to the ECU (early ones only) or any of the vacuum control line hoses. This normally due to perished/loose flexi pipes, etc).
- leaks in the air hoses going between turbo/engine/intercooler. Can be spotted by slight oil contamination at the point of leak.

Or it's variable vaine sticking (even intermittently) in the turbo due to contamination, preventing the turbo from performing according to the ECU demand, and hence being 'shut-off' by th ECU

So - check all vacum line for leaks, ensure turbo actuator is free to move, all air hoses are intact and secure, intercooler not leaking.

I have a 1998 Audi A4. My central lock stopped working

The humming is the central lock vacuum pump running..You either have a leak in one of the lines, or one of the hoses has popped off
