I recommend you to RUN the scanner/computer for diagnostic and fix it. You can have some problem with PCM+or ignition coil+BCM+sensor +sparkplug+wires, distributo etc.
See the diagram attached. The electronico now in vehicle is complicated. God bless youmy car sometimes doesn't want to start Like if it - ea61b5c3-7e5f-48e3-893d-b55f6ae0a6b3.jpg

Could be a short in the ignition. Purchase some dielectirc grease and apply some of this to the key this may solve the problem.

SOURCE: Have a 2007 Jeep Commander

Did you got the fuel pressure checked. As you say it sometimes not starting and sometimes starting, this indicates that fuel pump is bit weak, its not letting fuel to the engine.Try spraying starter fluid to the throttle body and then see is it starting with starter fluid. When you face the no start problem like this at that time spray the starter fluid and see if its starting up right. If it starts then its fuel pump and filter issue. The pump is loosing its pressure.-------------But if the same no start problem with starter fluid too, then it can be air filter blocked issue or transmission trans-axle issue or shift bezel issue or it can be low tire pressure issue.----------

2002 PT cruiser overheated engine died now won't start?

Unfortunately once an engine seizes due to overheating they sometimes need extensive mechanical repairs to get them to start and run again. You can try letting it cool down totally and add coolant/water to radiator before restarting. Sometimes they’ll come back to life. There’s a possibility that when it seized there was damage done to the cylinder walls and now the engine doesn’t have enough compression to actually start. Good luck.

My 1JZ Vvti struggles to start - cranks fine but only starts sometimes when primed (ignition off to on process)

no year, way a shame. 1jz what, there are 3. ge,gte, fse
24valve, DOHC , got twin turbos?
inline 6 , 2.5L (unknown target country or EFI used)
do the 60k mile tune up.
(ignition off to on process) huh? bad starts , ( i do a battery of tests ) here is a stupid list. (can do 50)
LOL what a pun, battery not low? (a battery of battery tests? LOL.
no year, makes answers SUPER HARD so guess at 96+
ever run a scan tool on it, see if DTCS are there? if not; why not?
1: never tuned up, this decade or last 60k mile marker.
2: ISC sticking close, starves air and goes rich floods.
3: low fuel pressure
4: leaking or clogged (full or partial) injectors
5: ECT reads wrong, so fueling is wrong
6: flooding for many reasons.
7: weak compression on 1 or more cylinders.
8: leaking head valves.
9:cam belt slipped, see low compression x 6
10: spark parts bad, or timed wrong.
11: scan it, scan it scan, it.... but no year so cant help you.........

nor country stated.. EFI works different in each country
not the basics but how to SCAN>
nobody here ever posts country cept, 2 in 4500 posts..... amazes me...

06 dodge nitro 2.8 diesel wont start but will start on ether every time , it wont start hot or cold unless a squirt of ether is used.,

First off, ether is not the way to go at all! You'll end up messing up the piston rings with continuous use. Also with using ether engines tend to get "addicted" to it (its the only way they will start after some time as the rings get burnt and compression under normal cranking isnt enough)

The fact you can start the engine on ether means fuel prob isnt the problem. I would have said the problem was probably your pre-heating system and to check your plugs, wiring and fuses for the pre-heating system but the fact hot start doesnt work either doesnt make sense.

How long have you been using ether? If it has been for an extended period then I have a feeling the piston rings might be shot and full compression cant be reached during cranking and the ether just kickstarts your engine into starting. Any smoke out the tailpipe?

I would still check the glow plugs.

Hope this helps in some way

Club cart doesn't always start

This is not really a car question, but you are probably right on your hunch. There should be a switch under the floor that is connected to the gas pedal. There may also be a switch in the linkage where it makes contact with the engine.

My '97 ford taurus isnt kicking over while tryn to start it up

Anything done to car, or happened recently that might affect this?
If starter fluid doesn't work, and starter is cranking normally (too fast may point to a timing belt broke, too slow may mean battery run down and not producing sufficient spark), there's still a problem in your ignition. Pull a sparkplug or two. After cranking a little they should be wet with gas. Check for compression while a plug is out: hold your finger over plug hole when cranking. You should feel pressure buildup and release over and over as long as cranking.
A properly timed engine needs spark, fuel, and compression to start. Keep reviewing your procedure. Something is not right.
You may want to have the computer scanned for possible trouble codes. Check plug wires for proper routing. Were plugs gapped right?

WHAT MAKES SPARK PLUGS FLOODED WITH PETROL .ITS GOT SPARK ,

The fuel isnt being burned so it remained liquid & quietly collkected on the spark plugs. Clean & dry the plugs & try a few drops of oil in the cylinders to restore compression. It just may work. If that doesn`t do it then either the plugs are not producing enough spark to ignite the fuel, the cylinder compression is not sufficient for combustion, the spark timing is incorrect, or the air fuel ratio is way off. Your need to determine which is the case and why. You may want to start with a spark tester that will test for sufficient firing voltage ( cheap tester can be bought at any parts supply store for a few dollars). Then check cylinder compression. If the compression is low you should perform a cylinder leak down test to determine why the compression is low. Finally, if you have good spark, good compressoin, and the timing is ok then look for a really big vacuum leak caused by a stuck open EGR valve or a newly ruptured brake booster diaphram.

clutch isnt disengauging- i know i cant spell-lol i think yours is hydraulic check the resevior on the firewall on the drivers side. it takes dot 3 brake fluid. if its low then theres a leak, most likey the slave cylinder in the bell housing. or the throw-out bearing is failing.

My 84 camaro will not start

if one cylinder isn't getting enough compression, the other cylinders might not be getting enough either. see, if there isn't enough compression, when the fuel ignites it is escaping someplace instead of pushing the piston causing the motor to run.

My Saturn L300 cut off in the middle of driving started to shake

Have the fuel pump checked. It does sound like it isnt getting enough "Juice" as you put it, which means the pump is going out. Or its something in the fuel injection somewhere. Have it checked out by a mechanic. Good luck.
