Does anyone know how to reset the windows on a bmw ?/

Compare it with one from another door.

Should try a reset for the computer read about it in tour Manual First but I have seen this before

It depends on how old your car is and the availability of spare parts in your area.

Remove rear seat and interior trim panel.

if i had new bmw i would let only the bmw dealership change oil and service the car period, bmw is a very expensive car every body cant work on them.let dealership do the oil change they the only ones can reset your oil service light,its not easy to reset if you dont know how. most of the time if you have new vechicle the place where you bought the car will cut you a oil change deal.

Only BMW dealer can give you the code.
Need to take proof of ownership papers with you.

hey hassa, if you swapped an ABS control unit from another vehicle, it needs to be coded to your vehicle. If your vehicle does not recognize the replacement vin, it will set a fault. also, make sure to have the ABS sensors calibrated after the control unit is coded. most dealers charge about 1hr labor to perform coding and sensor calibration.

It sounds stupid, but check the tail light sockets. My 5 series had all sorts of electrical problems and when I replaced defective tail light sockets, most of the problems disappeared.
