Losing oil pressure in a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7 L, and I'm just wondering where the oil sending unit would be located.

It normally is located near the oil filter it looks like a little plug with a wire on it

2004 dodge ram 4.7 no oil pressure reading until you turn it off
The oil pump either works or it doesn't, so it's not the problem. Check the wire connection at the pressure sending unit. The wire may be broken at the connector, or you may need to replace the sending unit.
