Water in gas tank?

I have a 2001 toyota tundra and had my car parked outside for the last 4 days. over that time we received over 3-4" of rain and looks like water got into the gas tank for some reason? I was able to drain some gas from the tank and sure enough there was water in the tank. So how best to remove it from the injectors and lines?

If it was alot of water, the injectors would need to be removed and the lines flushed. Spraying water into the cylinders could cause damage. The pump may be damaged too or have a shorter life due to the lack of lube.

SOURCE: 2001 toyota tundra stalls when put in gear

If the engine stalls abruptly on your Cirrus, as if some one clamped it, then I would suspect that the 'lock-up' function on the torque converter of the transmission is in the lock-up position. That means it is the same as popping the clutch on a conventional transmission car, which cause the same stall. If you can't drive the car, I would call around to several independent transmission shops to find one that is familiar with the Chrysler 41TE transmission and that appears to be honest. Ask if they have a diagnostic readout box to communicate with the transmission control computer. If they do then have the car towed there and let them try a readout. If they get a code 38 or 0740 (depending upon what year model you have there) then that would show that the lock-up is the problem. If you are lucky the problem will be with a solenoid switch or valve in the box on the side of the transmission which can be corrected easily without removing the transmission. Because this possibility (along with about 6 other causes) is worth pursuing, I would want a shop that is not going to talk you into a "rebuild" without first looking into all the possible reasons for the lock-up condition so you aren't "taken for a ride".
So ask friends if they know a good honest shop and check them out as to how well they understand the Chrysler transmission. You may end up at a Chrysler dealer, but insist on their trying all the other possible causes before authorizing removal of the transmission which is a very expensive repair and may not be necessary.

SOURCE: gas smell outside of car. unable to see any leaks, car runs fine

Hows your gas milage or do you have any check engine lights come on?Usually if theres no leakage signs its an indication of the evap system leaking. That is recycling of the gas fumes. Its a vacuum system that is now manditory on cars.Thats usually rhe answer when theres no leaking happening. After driving awile open your gas cap,see if you get a vacuum sound when you open it.

SOURCE: 2007 H3 sunroof leak

The ramp up mechinism is not closeing the gasket up tight agaisnt the sealing surface so this is a warrenty issue, take it in and have it repaired by the dealer. If you want asstanice to do it yourself please Post here for detailed instructions on doing it yourself. You would do better in a chat because of the problems you may run into that way you work with just one person. Hope this helps.

My 2001 tundra turns over and everything works but wont start has half tank gas

If it has known good spark and fuel pressure try spraying carb cleaner in the throttle body while cranking engine to see if it will crank.
